Ages: Rising 5th - 8th graders
Volley101 "Next Level Training" is for rising 6th - 8th graders who have participated in our Volley101 sessions (or other developmental programs) and want to prepare for their middle school team tryouts. This section will focus on volleyball fundamentals of passing, setting, serving, attacking, but will include more "game play" concepts such as small court and full court (6 v 6) scrimmages as well as offense and defense team tactics.
Volley101 is an innovative youth development program geared to teaching the sport of volleyball to girls and boys. As with all of our club teams, our coaches use positive coaching techniques mixed with high energy, age-appropriate drills, and team building games. We keep it fun and create opportunities for success. Our goal is to ignite a love of volleyball in our young athletes! Parents often struggle with their children's involvement in youth sports. In particular, they believe that they have to choose between programs that are fun and those that are competitive. CHAVC's Volley101 program bridges this gap by fostering a life-long love of the game while developing excellent skill fundamentals.
